‘He’s my little prince’

Royal baby at Westmead
Baby Ali Hairdar Ghulam was born around the same time the Royal baby was born.

While a Royal baby was born on the other side of the world, Westmead Hospital welcomed its own little prince at around the same time last night.

Shaista Ghulam gave birth to her son Ali Haidar Ghulam just hours before The Duchess of Cambridge delivered her baby boy in the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London.

“He’s my little prince … I love him so much,” Ms Ghulam said.

“I didn’t realise that he was born around the same time … he’s very lucky.”

Ali Haider Ghulam is our very own Royal baby.

Ms Ghulam said she is enjoying her first day with Ali in the maternity ward and is planning on giving him his first bath.

It is the third time Ms Ghulam has delivered a healthy child through having a natural birth and she says she feels very blessed.

“It’s a very nice feeling when the nurse puts the baby on your chest … you forget all the pain,” she said.

“I’m very happy you know it’s just the best feeling.”

While little Ali was named quite quickly, it was a different story in London where the Royal Family kept the world in anticipation of the new Royal prince’s first name.
