Hospital Road, Westmead, to close from April 4, 2017

There will be disruption around Westmead Hospital from Tuesday, April 4, when Hospital Road will close as part of the major redevelopment currently underway.

What is changing?

From Tuesday, 4 April, 2017, Hospital Road will be closed.

Designated cancer care parking spaces and car park P2 (senior medical staff car park) access will now be available only through car park P3.

This means staff will now share car park P3 entry and exit points with patients and senior medical staff.

There will no longer be any pedestrian or cycle access along Hospital Road.

How will staff access parking?
Current access routes to car park P3 will remain the same (see above map).

Parking spaces will be accessed via upgraded shared entry points into car park P3 (entry locations as shown on map).

Traffic control will be in place to assist with changes to access.

There will be increased traffic near the shared entry points. Please allow extra time for parking.
