Honda Foundation donates bladder scanner

Edelweis Rabi, Helen Smith, and Katherine Cox.

The Honda Foundation and Alto Honda Blacktown have generously donated a bladder scanner to Blacktown’s Cancer and Haematology Centre.

The bladder scanner is a non-invasive device, which is designed to easily locate the bladder position in patients for a more precise volume measurement.

It helps prevent unnecessary catheterisation and reduces costs, saves time and can be used at patient bedsides and in outpatient situations.

The Honda Foundation is funded by contributions from Honda Australia, private donors and dealerships across the country, including Alto Honda Blacktown.

More than $10 million has been donated to hundreds of worthy causes.

Thank you!
