Staff also had the opportunity to pay homage to the vollies, writing down what they loved about the volunteers and then placing it on a special comments tree.

Blacktown Hospital volunteer manager Janice Lowe said many volunteers donated their time six days a week, supporting patients, staff and visitors across the hospital.

Volunteers from Pastoral Care and Palliative Support also attended the thank you event.
