Tea time for Blacktown & Mount Druitt hospitals
Staff, patients and volunteers at Blacktown and Mount Druitt hospitals shared some sweet treats and a cuppa on May 25 as part of the Biggest Morning Tea.
Some clever staff bakers manned a cake stall in Hospital Street at Blacktown Hospital, with a coin donation earning hungry passers-by a delicious baked good.
A raffle prize was also on offer – a lovely hamper of tea-themed products.
Mount Druitt Hospital also hosted a well-received cake stall, along with hamburgers for staff to enjoy at lunchtime.
All proceeds from both events will be donated to the Cancer Council, to help fund vital research, prevention and support service programs.
