The latest pics from our Wellbeing Festival

People ventured out of our buildings to pound the pavement on Walking Wednesday – with the crowd at Cumberland amassing an impressive 53,920 steps collectively – as part of the first WSLHD Wellbeing Festival.
Day three of the festival was busy, with stretching classes at Blacktown and Mount Druitt, walking sessions at every hospital, and a continuing program of health screening checks (these have proved so popular that additional appointments are now available at Westmead and Blacktown; you can book here).

More than 120 people turned out for a much-anticipated talk by positivity and wellbeing expert Dr Suzy Green at Blacktown – where a spot of thumb-wrestling had everyone laughing.
People also shared the things that made them flourish, telling each other “I flourish when I see my patients recover”, “I flourish when I spend time with my family” and “I flourish when I get a smile from someone”.

At Auburn, Dr Ahmed Hussein spoke about fasting for Ramadan for people with diabetes.
