After nearly 25 years working in Western Sydney Local Health District, patient and carer experience manager Kay DeRidder is leaving to take up a position with the Clinical Excellence Commission.
Kay has been appointed the program manager of patient-centred care.
Kay worked in community health and aged care as a social worker before moving into WSLHD’s Clinical Governance team, where she has been the patient and carer experience manager for the last three years.
Kay’s colleagues acknowledged her passion and skill at always putting patients and carers at the centre of her work and her generosity in sharing her knowledge and mentoring students and co-workers.
WSLHD Clinical Governance wish Kay well in her exciting new role.
Kay was farewelled at a special afternoon tea on June 21.
