Good Guys did good

Mount Druitt Hospital children’s ward play leader Eleanor Inskip shows eight-month-old patient Edie Mallard the new tablet.

The Good Guys Marsden Park chose the children’s ward at Mount Druitt Hospital as a recipient for their Doing Good Day on Saturday, 1 July.

Two Samsung Galaxy Tablets have been donated for children to use during their stay in hospital.

Mount Druitt Hospital children’s ward clinical nurse educator Katherine Barry said the hospital was thrilled with the The Good Guys’ support, which would help bring smiles to the faces of tiny patients.

The Good Guys Doing Good program supports local charities in the community.

Their giving program allows a percentage of every transaction made to be donated back to charity.

On Doing Good Day, the Good Guys Marsden Park will double the donation from each purchase.

A big thanks to The Good Guys Marsden Park for their support of the children’s ward at Mount Druitt.
