Western Sydney Local Health District’s cancer centres are on board for Dry July and we’re inviting the community to sign up and support our hospitals!

Dry July is is a not-for-profit organisation that challenges people to abstain from drinking alcohol for the month of July to support adults living with cancer.

Westmead Hospital’s Crown Princess Mary Cancer Centre and Blacktown Hospital’s Cancer and Haematology Centre are listed as beneficiaries once again this year.

Westmead Hospital launched their campaign with a mocktail party featuring Western Sydney Wanderers players Brendan Hamill and Vedran Janjetovic.

Mount Druitt Hospital also served up mocktails in support of Blacktown Hospital’s cancer centre, with an 80s theme.

Blacktown Hospital held a delicious cupcake stall.

Funds raised for the campaign will assist with the purchase of items to make patients’ stay more comfortable.
