Make time to brush: Dental Health Week 207
WSLHD will mark Dental Health Week 2017 (August 7 – 11).
We’ve all felt the stress of busy work lives and extracurricular activities, which can sometimes lead to oral health falling by the wayside.
But busy days don’t have to mean poor dietary choices or poor oral hygiene.
It’s important to fit caring for your teeth and gums into an already crowded diary.
Oral Health for Busy Lives is the theme for this year’s Dental Health Week.
WSLHD Oral Health will hold information stands on maintaining good oral health through brushing, flossing, maintaining a healthy diet, and visiting a dental professional regularly.
WSLHD Oral Health Information Stands will be held at:
- Westmead Hospital: Tuesday, 8 August, 12pm-1:30pm, main entrance foyer
- Blacktown Hospital: Friday, 11 August, 12pm-1:30pm, Eastern Stage Level 3
There will be limited giveaways of dental products and water bottles at the stands, as well as at Mount Druitt Hospital’s oral health clinic and Blacktown Hospital’s oral health clinic during the week, so get in early!

Impressive. I never comprehend what exactly is
up with these dentists but I could see their perspective.
And by the end, it all makes sense after what you mentioned
in this article.
A dental professional is not always fun and in order to prevent this type of adventures I believe we must begin taking much
better treatment of our teeth and health in general.
A dentist is not always exciting and to prevent that sort of adventures I feel we should start having much better hygiene of our teeth and also health in general.
