Arts and culture workshop a hit with Westmead staff

Westmead Hospital volunteers try out the hologram technology.

Last week, the Westmead Redevelopment team showcased new and exciting hologram technology on a roadshow around the precinct to promote the launch of the new Westmead Arts and Culture strategy.

The redevelopment team is calling out to all patients, staff, students and visitors to be involved in the arts and culture program, in the hope of creating a connection between providing healthcare and the patient experience in the new central acute services building.

“Finding new and exciting ways to engage with our staff, patients, students and visitors about art and culture at Westmead is a key focus for the project team,”project director Carla Edwards said.

“We want to ensure our consumers have dynamic opportunities to be involved and have their say in how the building looks and feels, while also celebrating our cultural diversity here at Westmead.”

The Westmead Redevelopment team is encouraging all staff, patients, students and visitors to take part in the Westmead Redevelopment arts and culture questionnaire to help the team define how to best represent Westmead now and in the future.
