Mulitplex celebrates Father’s Day with The Children’s Hospital at Westmead

Anthony from Multiplex and Westmead Redevelopment project director Tim Mason meet oncology patient Zara during the Father’s Day event.

Multiplex, who are responsible for the construction of the new central acute services building at Westmead Hospital, today visited The Children’s Hospital at Westmead to take part in its Father’s Day activities.

Arriving with a gift for every patient, they took part in arts and craft activities, before touring some of the wards to deliver gifts to the bedside.

The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network director of community relations and marketing Gilly Paxton said: “events like our Father’s Day celebrations allow children in hospital to make homemade gifts and cards for their dads, while also allowing our generous corporate partners with the opportunity to visit the hospital and get an insight into the work we do to make sick kids better.

“Multiplex’s generosity today in being involved in these activities and providing gifts for our patients was amazing.

“There were a lot of smiles on faces today and we are very grateful for their ongoing support. We look forward to many more celebrations like this one as we work towards the new hospital building being completed in 2020.”
