Hundreds brave rain for Coleman Greig challenge

Participants set off in the 2017 Coleman Greig Challenge.

A rainy morning did not dampen the spirits of hundreds of participants in this year’s Coleman Greig challenge.

Many braved the wet weather to run, walk or ride in the annual fundraising event.

All funds raised from the October 20 event will be donated to the Royal Institute for Dead & Blind Children, St Gabriel’s and My Westmead.

Participants in the 5km run had umbrellas at the ready.

Money raised for My Westmead will go towards newborn health at Westmead Hospital.

This year’s fundraising goal is $175,000.

Congrats to all who participated – looks like a fun morning!
