Mental Health Month celebrations at Cumberland

Cumberland Hospital’s staff, patients and carers marked Mental Health Month on October 26 with a day of events.

The celebrations kicked off with a BBQ lunch, cooked up by Cumberland Hospital staff, followed by presentations from guest speakers and researchers Tom Whitford and Reinette de Witt.

A finger food dinner was held from 6pm and included introductions to members of the mental health carer reference group.

Cumberland Hospital held a range of other events to mark Mental Health Month including a recovery services showcase, guest speakers and support groups.
