Surgical staff learn from USA’s best

Westmead Hospital rolled out the red carpet recently to welcome the University of Wisconsin’s chief division of surgical oncology and vice chair academic affairs Professor Sharon Weber to address junior staff about liver and pancreatic surgical issues.

Westmead Hospital’s Transplant, Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery specialist Professor Henry Pleass said: “Many of us were inspired by Professor Weber’s humble nature, great communication skills and exceptional academic record – it was a pleasure to have her visit Westmead.”
