Where should I park?
Patients, carers and visitors will have access to spaces in the multi-storey car park, along with the existing visitor car parks close to the main hospital building. Car parking for patients has been designed to provide services as close to each entrance into Westmead Hospital as possible. All visitor car parks are available to any patient, carer and visitor. The hospital has a number of entrances with car parking in close proximity, including:

  • Westmead Hospital main entrance – the car park near the main entrance
  • University Clinics – car park P3
  • Emergency Department – car park P3
  • Crown Princess Mary Cancer Care Centre (CPMCCC) – parking for visitors, carers and patients is available in car park P3
  • Westmead Centre for Oral Health – the new multi-storey car park

All patient, carers and visitors must take a ticket on entry to the car parks, including the multi-storey car park.
All patients, carers and visitors must pay for parking at designated pay stations prior to returning to their vehicle.
Pay stations are available in the lift lobby of the multi-storey car park. Alternative pay stations are available at the Westmead Hospital main entrance and the university clinics entrance.
Eftpos facilities for debit and credit cards are also available at the multi-storey car park exit points.

Car parking fees for Westmead Hospital are set by NSW Health. Westmead Hospital implements fees for visitors/patients, as per the NSW Health policy.
