Forum shines spotlight on quality and safety

hospital staff
All staff are invited to attend the forum.

Blacktown and Mount Druitt hospitals are hosting a Patient Safety and Quality of Care seminar series on Thursday 16 November.

A variety of presentations from the Australian Institute of Health Innovation (AIHI) with renowned academic Professor Jeffrey Braithwaite (President Elect of the International Society for Quality in Healthcare) will be held at Blacktown Hospital.

As the hospitals are in transition from a metropolitan hospital to a complex tertiary referral facility, Professor Braithwaite has been engaged to assist staff with learnings on how to make this evolution effective and smooth.

Presentations will be held throughout the day, with several topics being repeated, and we encourage as many staff across the district to attend.
