DEC 7: parking changes for Westmead Hospital staff

Artist’s impression of the new car park.

Parking will change for Westmead Hospital staff next week.

The new multi-storey car park will open on Thursday, 7 December, 2017.

There will be no access to the oval car park for Westmead Hospital staff from the evening of Wednesday, 6 December, 2017.

The Mons Road temporary car park will close for staff on the evening of Friday, 8 December, 2017.

Following the opening of the multi-storey car park, there will no longer be valet-assisted parking available in the car parks accessed via Dragonfly Drive.

The current late starter spaces will be relocated to the multi-storey car park.

We thank staff for their patience during the construction of the multi-storey car park and ongoing works to improve car parking at Westmead.

More information about these changes is available on the WSLHD staff intranet.

Secure Parking is managing the multi-storey car park. For any car parking enquiries, please contact Secure on 8890 3793.

FEES

From Thursday, 7 December 2017, staff car parking fees will increase to $22.70 per week for full-time employees and $15.25 for part-time employees.

The fee change is in-line with the NSW Health Policy Directive PD2013_031, which applies to NSW hospitals and was developed in consultation with union representatives.

The fee change will be a pre-tax payroll deduction for staff who opt to pay for parking.

The fee change will be automatically implemented for staff who currently pay for parking.

If you no longer wish to pay for parking, you must complete the Westmead Hospital staff parking cancellation form.

The form can be accessed at http://bit.ly/2w92aSG or by searching “staff car parking fees” on the WSLHD staff intranet.
