Santa brings Christmas scrubs

A3C acting nursing unit manager Suzanne Stevens with nurses Kharla Ting, Mavis Chan and Christina Spiteri.

Check out the team from Westmead Hospital’s high-dependency surgical ward (A3C) in their Christmas scrubs!

The scrubs came on special order from the North Pole (via the US!) and will be worn by all the nursing staff in A3C throughout December.

Acting nursing unit manager Suzanne Stevens said it was a great way for the staff to get into the Christmas spirit.

“All the nurses were so excited to wear the scrubs,” she said.

“We put the order in months ago so we could have them shipped from the US in time for Christmas. We just want to bring a bit of the festive spirit to our patients.”

The A3C team: Suzanne Stevens, Monica Sastre, Jennifer Yang, Kristine Post, Kyong Park, Irene Thayaparan, Rimsha Jacab, Kharla Ting, Christina Spiteri, Angela Connell, Mavis Chan, Kabita Lamichhane, Sunra Sumlut and Joan Evans-Shum.

Love your work team A3C!
