BBQ galore marks Christmas at Westmead Hospital

Westmead Christmas barbeque — These dedicated staff members battled the 40 degree heat to cook a mean barbecue for everyone!

Hundreds of Westmead Hospital staff visited the Westmead Education & Conference Centre this week for a Christmas BBQ lunch.

The queue was a mile long, but it didn’t take long to get to the front where staff were ready to fill plates with delicious options. Fresh fruits were also on hand for a refreshing dessert!

It was great to see staff from various areas including theatres, general services and nursing mingling and celebrating Christmas.

On behalf of the Westmead Hospital executive team, management and staff we wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas and look forward to seeing everyone in 2018!

XMAS BBQ — Administration officer Catherine Watton, executive officer Caroline Olalia, revenue clerk Tanya Seymour cancer care administration officer, Julie Kirk and biomedical officer Hong Tran.

Christmas Barbecue — Matt Jones, orthopaedic registrar, Chris Williams, senior radiographer and Michael Jenkins, orthopaedic registrar enjoy the barbecue.
