Join our award-winning team of volunteers

Congratulations to Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospital volunteers who were recognised for their contributions to the NSW public service at the recent Premier’s Awards for Public Service.

Blacktown and Mount Druitt hospitals’ voluntary services co-ordinator Janice Low applauded those nominated and thanked all volunteers for the marvelous work they do.

“We’re encouraging community members to consider joining our award-winning team of volunteers.

“We are recruiting for Mount Druitt Hospital volunteers in February.

“Volunteers assist with fundraising, assisting in the emergency department and intensive care unit by offering refreshments to carers or visitors, handing out colouring books to children and selling beverages and food in the hospital kiosk.”
