Executive directors return to their nursing roots

The Blacktown Nursing Executive swapped their corporate outfits for the dark blue NSW Health scrubs recently as part of a team building exercise.

Blacktown and Mount Druitt hospitals’ director of Nursing and Midwifery Danielle Levis and deputy director of Nursing Rola Tawbe participated in the exercise to re-apply their nursing and clinical skills by working in the hospital wards for a day, building relationships with staff and going back to hands-on nursing.

“It was great to spend time with the staff and patients and brush up on my nursing skills,” Danielle said.
