Update: Sydney train strike

*** Story updated Thursday 25 January at 4pm
The Fair Work Commission has suspended the planned Sydney Train Workers’ strike for six weeks, and Monday’s planned strike action will not proceed.
However, it is still important that the community plans ahead as there may be some disruption as the network returns back to normal operations over the coming days.
There may be some disruption to train services on Saturday and Sunday as services are reinstated.
Reduced services will continue from Friday to Sunday and Sydney Trains are working hard to deliver normal services on Monday.
