Midwives and families invited to walk to celebrate

Midwives and mothers will turn out in force across the country and around the globe to celebrate the International Day of the Midwife.

To mark the day events will take place in each state and territory, with midwives, families and communities walking together.

Walking with Midwives is a long standing tradition so bring your family and friends to show your support for one of the world’s oldest professions.

Lake Parramatta Walk and Presentation

Join us at Lake Parramatta to celebrate with a walk on May 6, 2018.

Start time: 9:30am registration for 10:00am start.

Address of Start: Lake Parramatta, meet outside the cafe

Address of finish: Lake Swimming edge

The walk will conclude with Auntie Kerrie Kenton, of the Darug and Dhunghutti Nations sharing some of her birthing knowledge.
