Project RED explained

Changes have been made to Blacktown Hospital’s emergency department to improve patient flow.

Patients are spending an average of 80 minutes or less in the Blacktown Hospital emergency department thanks to changes introduced by Project RED.

The redesign project was created last year to improve patient flow and emergency treatment performance.

The Project RED team has released a short video to capture last year’s achievements at Blacktown Hospital.
