Want to communicate better with your patients?

Professor Parisa Aslani from the University of Sydney will provide insight into communicating with patients.

If your patients struggle to understand information about their diagnosis, medication, or procedures and you wish there was something you could do to help them, well make sure you come along to the WSLHD Health Literacy Seminar!

This is the second of a number of bi-monthly seminars which will be held this year.

You will hear about ‘how to develop easy-to-read written materials’ from guest presenter, Prof Parisa Aslani from The University of Sydney.

These bi-monthly seminars are for clinical and non-clinical staff and are run by the WSLHD Health Literacy Hub and The University of Sydney Health Literacy Lab.

The seminars touch on best practices and research innovations in effective communication to help improve the health literacy of our patients and communities.

So come along and be part of the bigger plan to make western Sydney one of the most health literate communities in Australia.
