Fun run registrations open – get in fast, places limited

Donna Garland from Westmead Hospital’s Women’s and Newborn Health team participated in last year’s Coleman Greig challenge.

Registrations are now open for western Sydney’s largest charity race – the Coleman Greig Challenge.

This year’s event, which will be held on Friday 21 September at 6.45am, offers a great opportunity for corporate groups to enjoy a fun morning while raising funds for Westmead Hospital’s maternity and newborn care services.

Participants can run, ride or walk a 2.5km path in the picturesque Parramatta Park.

Westmead Hospital Foundation director Joe Conneely is encouraging everyone to sign up for this year’s event.

“This is an opportunity for corporate groups to have a great morning out of the work environment and make a difference to the lives of children and their families in western Sydney,” Joe said.

“You don’t need to be an athlete to take part in this event – a walk through Parramatta Park is enough to make a huge difference.”
