Staff set to sport favourite jerseys tomorrow

Westmead Hospital staff wore their favourite jerseys as part of last year’s Jersey Day.

Our staff love any excuse to dress up, and Jersey Day (tomorrow, 31 August) will be no exception.

Jersey Day aims to raise awareness of the important work being carried out by the Organ and Tissue Authority and the DonateLife network.

Our hospitals and services across Western Sydney Local Health District will wear their favourite jersey to show their support tomorrow.

It was inspired by the story of Nathan Gremmo, who died in an accident in May 2015. His family chose to donate his organs to honour his legacy and generous personality.

Team photos of staff wearing jerseys can be sent to wslhd-media@health.nsw.gov.au to be considered for the Western Sydney Local Health District Facebook page.
