Second in the state for Steptember

Teams from across WSLHD have raised thousands of dollars to help people with cerebral palsy as part of Steptember.

WSLHD Steptember teams have raised an amazing $43, 347.08, earning us second place on the NSW Health leaderboard.

Teams from across the Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) aimed to take 10,000 steps a day during the month of September to raise money for people with cerebral palsy.

Collectively, WSLHD participants took a total of 133,612,538 steps.

Many people with cerebral palsy can not take a single step unassisted, so our teams did not take their ability to move for granted.

Congratulations to everyone who participated!

If you did not step out this year, you can still support kids with cerebral palsy.

Go to the donations page and search by a participant’s name or “Western Sydney Local Health District” to support our Steptember teams.

Fundraising for Steptember is open until October 31.
