Westmeadow Childcare looks after the generations

Proud grandmother and Westmead Hospital nurse manager Vicki Wilde-Shooter has marked a generational trend in her family at Westmeadow Childcare. 

Kingston Wilde, who is three years of age, has joined the Westmeadow family.  Kingston’s uncles Jett (18) and Zane Wilde (16) spent all of their pre-school years also at Westmeadow while their mother Vicki Wilde-Shooter worked full-time at Westmead Hospital’s maternity ward – and still does. 

Kingston’s mother Sandra Wilde works in Westmead Hospital’s trauma services as a secretary.

Vicki Wilde-Shooter said childcare workers from the centre welcomed Jett and Zane back for a visit and a play.

“Jett and Zane have great memories of being at Westmeadow,” Vicki said.

“Although they’ve grown a lot and think the playground now looks really small, they showed Kingston the ropes for riding around the playground on the little bikes.”
