Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) will host the first ever People Matter World Café on Wednesday 30th January.

Staff across different facilities and professional areas will come together and discuss their experiences and ideas to make WSLHD an even better place to work.

Discussion topics will range from job satisfaction to senior manager communication, recruitment decision-making, change management and staff wellbeing.

Last year 3980 staff shared their feedback in the People Matter Staff Survey.

Acting chief executive Robynne Cooke assured staff that WSLHD Executive is committed to acting on this feedback.

“We plan to work closely with staff to make real improvements – the People Matter World Café is just the first step.”

The program for the day will include a welcome from the Chief Executive, rounds of small group discussions, and a wrap up of ideas, priority actions and next steps. There may even be a performance or two!

Western Sydney Local Health District staff from all levels, locations and professional areas are encouraged to express their interest in joining the People Matter World Café.

Please discuss it with your manager before sending an email with your name, position title, facility/service and contact number to WSLHD-PeopleandCulture@health.nsw.gov.au.

Expressions of interest close this Friday 18th January.

Attendees will be confirmed next week.
