Pancakes galore at Mount Druitt Hospital

Mount Druitt Hospital staff marked “Shrove Tuesday” or “Pancake Day” , shouting patients, carers and staff to free hot cakes.
Pancake Day is a Christian tradition that represents the last day of feasting before Lent begins.
Supportive and palliative care nursing unit manager Trish Dalgleish appreciated the warm gesture by volunteers Katherine and Mary.
“The patients, carers and staff were surprised and grateful for the delicious crepes and tucked into them without any hesitation,” Trish said.
