After battling cancer for the past six years, Blacktown Hospital general services wardsman Cliff Luckwell sadly passed away over the weekend.
Cliff started work at Blacktown Hospital in the general services department in June 1988 and remained a wardsman for 27 years.
He unfortunately had to give up work in 2015, but Cliff was still seen as part of general services team.
Blacktown Hospital general services site coordinator Katy Martin said Cliff was a dedicated family man and an integral part of the team.
“He had a vibrant smile and cheeky attitude which made working with him a delight,” Katy said.
“The general services team, colleagues and friends he has made over the years will truly miss him.
“Our thoughts are with his wife Doreen and family at this time.”
The funeral will be held on Friday 26 April at 1pm at North Chapel Pinegrove Memorial Park.
