Western Sydney Local Health District staff working on Saturday, May 18 are reminded that they will need to cast their vote for the Federal Election before or after work.

Polls open at 8am and close at 6pm sharp, and voting is compulsory for all Australian citizens who are on the electoral roll. Failure to vote could result in a fine.

There will be no polling place on site at any WSLHD hospitals on Saturday.

Pre-poll voting is available at select locations until 5.30pm on Friday, May 17.

See below for polling locations near our hospitals election day.

You can find out how and where to vote at the Australian Electoral Commission website, and importantly, find out which polling booths have food at the Democracy Sausage website.
