Delicious start to the People Matter survey

Auburn Hospital staff celebrate the launch of the People Matter survey.

Western Sydney Local Health District has welcomed the start of NSW Health’s 2019 People Matter survey the way Aussies know best: with food.

Westmead Hospital hosted a barbecue and Auburn Hospital delivered boxes of food to all staff.

NICU nurse manager John Whittacker, birth unit nurse manager Florence Ong and midwifery unit manager Kirsty Meyers at the Westmead Hospital barbecue.

The annual survey, which opened today, is targeted at all NSW Health employees and encourages them to provide feedback and opinions about their workplace.

NSW Health Deputy Secretary Elizabeth Koff said the survey is an important part of NSW Health’s continual improvement process.

“I encourage you to think about how change can be effected at an individual, facility, service and organisational level to improve our workplace,” Ms Koff said.

Advanced trainee from Westmead Hospital’s haematology department Dr Pietro Di Ciallio and intensive care unit technician Yvonne Chen-Smith enjoy the staff BBQ at Westmead.

“Please take the time to complete the survey. Together we can make our Local Health Districts even better places to work.”
