Change champions wanted to improve Western Sydney healthcare

Join us and become our next consumer representative!

Community members keen to share their insights as a patient or carer are being invited to become a Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) consumer representative.

Consumer representatives are highly valued individuals who regularly inform WSLHD about what matters to western Sydney community members and their healthcare.

Integration and enablers program lead Alicia Wood said the program is about making life easier for patients.

“We need your help to better understand our patients’ needs,” Alicia said.

“By joining this advisory group you will be provided with training and support to build your confidence and knowledge about how the health system works.

“Successful applications will be reimbursed for any travel and parking expenses.”

Eligible applicants will be:

– Over 25 years of age

– Live in the WSLHD area

– Have used WSLHD health services as patients or carers or may access the service in future
