Last call: join 14,000 others and vote for your favourite 2019 health project

Will Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) break last year’s record of 17,000 votes for a NewsLocal People’s Choice Award?
So far, more than 14,000 votes have been submitted and there are two days left for online voting.
The NewsLocal People’s Choice winner will be presented at the Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) Quality Awards evening on 27 September, which celebrates initiatives and projects designed to improve healthcare in the region.
It is the only award category where staff and the community gets to decide the winner.
WSLHD clinical governance acting director Heather Doonlan has encouraged everyone to vote online for their preferred project and team.
“Voting closes this week, so please jump online and show your support for the project of your choice,” Heather said.
“Our staff are very competitive so it will be interesting to see which category and project takes the glory of being the 2019 NewsLocal People’s Choice winner.
“In my eyes all the projects are winners and our staff should be proud of their project initiatives.”
