Daddy celebrates first Father’s Day at Westmead

Happy family: Andrew, Lois and baby Archer.

First time dad Andrew Fitzsimons today celebrated his first Father’s Day at Westmead Hospital with his partner Lois and seven-day old baby boy Archer.

The proud new Wentworthville parents are hoping to take Archer home today to settle him in with a new routine and lots of love and cuddles.

“It’s terrific being a new dad and I’m learning a lot really quickly,” Andrew said.

“All the midwives here at Westmead Hospital have been great.

“I’ve had hands on experience with changing  nappies and can manage the wrap.

“Archer’s terrific and I fell in love the second I saw him but I was scared on the first day that he would break!
