New Zealand tragedy: a message of support


Western Sydney Local Health District chief executive Graeme Loy has shared a message of support to those affected by the volcano eruption on White Island, New Zealand this week.

“This devastating event has resulted in tragic loss of life and injury to New Zealanders, and visitors from Australia, the United States, Germany, Britain, China and Malaysia,” Graeme said.

“We share in the grief and sorrow of those who have lost or are missing family and friends.

“We encourage any of our staff affected or distressed by this tragedy to contact Access EAP for extra support.”
