130 years of volunteer service celebrated at Westmead Hospital

Westmead Hospital volunteers enjoy their Christmas celebration.

Westmead Hospital’s very own elves from Santa’s workshop have been thanked for 130 years of invaluable service as volunteers.

Eleven men and women were acknowledged and thanked for their service at a Christmas luncheon.

Corporate Services acting director Adam Cruikshank said he was grateful for the commitment, tireless effort and support that each and every one give each day for their communities.

“Their reward is giving back to the community and going home knowing that have achieved and done a worthy job,” Adam said.

  • Leone Clarke – 10 years
  • Manikanth Purshottam – 10 years
  • Kiran Gupta – 5 years
  • Ann Ngo – 5 years
  • Helen Adamson – 5 years
  • Chekorakshi Behl – 5 years
