Train with an Olympian and raise money for charity – NAB RunWest fun run cancelled due to COVID-19

Due to COVID-19 outbreak the NAB RunWest fund run has been cancelled.
Think you’ve got what it takes to survive a training session with a champion athlete?
The first 30 people to register with the Better Foundation team in the NAB RunWest fun run will receive a free pre-event class with former Olympian and Blacktown Hospital junior doctor Jana Pittman.
So grab your skins and running shoes and rally up your teams to walk, run or dance through the heart of Western Sydney.
The event, now in its second year, brings the community together in fitness to raise funds for various charities, including the Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals Better Foundation.
Better Foundation chief executive Nermeen Yacoub is encouraging people to register in the charity’s team and show their support for Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals.
“This marathon is great incentive to get fit, raise funds for Blacktown and Mount Druitt hospitals and do a bit of team bonding.
“The course is a lot of fun, starting at Eastern Creek Raceway through Sydney Zoo and finish at West HQ Rooty Hill,” Nermeen said.
The Better Foundation raises vital funds for state-of-the-art equipment, world’s best research and advanced education for doctors, nurses and clinical staff at Blacktown and Mount Druitt hospitals.
