From bushfires to a global pandemic, it’s already been an unforgettable year for health workers whose hard work deserves recognition.
It’s with this in mind that the deadline for 2020 Quality Awards submissions has been extended until the end of June.
Planning is underway for Western Sydney Local Health District’s famous red carpet gala event, which will take on a different look and feel this year given the COVID-19 restrictions.
WSLHD Clinical Governance director Heather Doolan encourages staff to use the additional time to work on their submissions and be part of this year’s special ceremony.
“We know people are juggling many tasks at the moment and may not be thinking about their quality projects, so we have extended the timeframe for submissions to June 30,” Heather said.
“Health staff across the District have worked incredibly hard this year and deserve a night to celebrate their hard work and achievements.
“Don’t miss out and help your team receive the recognition they deserve.”
The Quality Awards cover eight categories with three additional peak awards including the NewsLocal People’s Choice Award.
