Help sick kids with the Coleman Greig Virtual Challenge

Western Sydney’s largest charity event is going ahead online this year to continue raising money for children in need.

Now in its eight year, the Coleman Greig Challenge has raised over $1 million dollars for children with special needs and newborn care.

This year the challenge looks a little different as participants are encouraged to physically distance while raising funds for St Gabriel’s School and Westmead Hospital.

Participants can walk, run or cycle at any location during the week-long challenge, from September 18-25, and track their activity through Fitbit and Strava.

This challenge is helping raise funds for the purchase of new mobile BiliSoftTM blankets for the treatment of jaundice in newborn babies at Westmead Hospital.

To register as an individual or as part of a team, or to make a donation visit Coleman Greig Virtual Challenge website.

Healthcare staff can register for free and all Westmead Team registrations get a free sports t-shirt.

Numbers are limited so contact Westmead Hospital Foundation today to secure a free registration and sports t-shirt on (02) 8890 9019.

All participants will receive a challenge race pack containing an optional race bib and wrist band to use for photos, as well as a downloadable finisher’s certificate.
