Important information about the COVID-19 vaccination

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian and Health Minister Brad Hazzard look on as NSW Health worker Andrew Santoso, a Radiographer in the emergency Department receives his COVID-19 vaccination at the Westmead Hospital Vaccination Hub in Sydney.

Our vaccination hub at Westmead Hospital is only providing the vaccine to staff and frontline workers and is not open to the general public.

COVID-19 vaccinations will become available in phases. This means groups of people will receive the vaccination at different times.

To check when you will be eligible, you can visit https://covid-vaccine.healthdirect.gov.au/eligibility

If you are not yet eligible, you can choose to register to be notified when the vaccine is available to you.

If you have questions about the COVID-19 vaccination, please call the National Coronavirus and COVID-19 vaccine helpline on 1800 020 080 for more information on the rollout for the community, or visit the Australian Government’s Vaccine Eligibility Checker online.

If you are a Western Sydney Local Health District staff member with a vaccination appointment enquiry, please direct your query to your line manager.
