New testing requirements for essential workers in Fairfield

Stay at home rules apply to Greater Sydney including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong and Shellharbour local government areas.

You must not leave home unless you have a reasonable excuse.

If you live in or are staying in the Fairfield local government area but you work outside this area, you must have a COVID-19 test once every 72 hours (3 days) in order to be allowed to enter a workplace.

Anyone with even the mildest of cold-like symptoms is urged to immediately come forward for testing and isolate until a negative result is received.

There are more than 380 COVID-19 testing locations across NSW, many of which are open seven days a week. To find your nearest clinic visit COVID-19 testing clinics or contact your GP.
