120,000 Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations on offer as Qudos Bank Arena becomes the biggest mass vax hub in NSW

120,000 Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations will be available at the Qudos Bank Arena Vaccination Centre next week making it the biggest mass vaccination hub in NSW and protecting even more people from COVID-19.

People aged 16 to 39 years old who live in an area of concern are encouraged to make their booking and protect themselves against COVID-19 with up to 18,500 vaccinations to be administered every day.

“Every person we vaccinate is a victory in our battle with COVID-19 – and next week we want to vaccinate as many eligible Sydneysiders as possible,” Graeme Loy, chief executive Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) said.

“Western Sydney Local Health District would like to thank our partners in this huge exercise including the NSW Police, NSW Transport, Baxter Healthcare, Western Sydney University, NSW Pathology and everyone coming forward for vaccination themselves.”

People must be from the Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Bayside, Blacktown, Burwood, Campbelltown, Canterbury-Bankstown, Cumberland, Fairfield, Georges River, Liverpool, Parramatta, Penrith or Strathfield to receive their vaccination.

Bookings are essential and both doses must be booked at Qudos Bank Arena Vaccination Centre.

Those who are not aged 16 to 39 and are not from these LGAs cannot book through this scheme.

You must not attend your vaccination appointment if you have any COVID-19 symptoms. Please get tested and self-isolate until you receive a negative test result. You should also not attend if you are a close contact.
