Priority COVID-19 vaccinations for Cumberland LGA residents this long weekend at Qudos Bank Arena

Calling Guildford, Merrylands and Auburn residents!
This October long weekend, residents of the Cumberland Local Government Area will be able to get priority COVID-19 vaccinations at Qudos Bank Arena thanks to Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD).
Over 87.8 per cent of Cumberland residents aged 15+ have already received their first dose of a COVID vaccine, but we want to see the area join Blacktown and The Hills in reaching over 95 per cent first dose coverage.
Both Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccinations will be available on-the-spot from 8am-4pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday this weekend.
The Pfizer vaccine is suitable for all ages 12+ while the AstraZeneca vaccine is suitable for people aged 18+
“This is a great opportunity for your family, friends and neighbours in the Cumberland area to get out of the house and get vaccinated this long weekend,” said WSLHD chief executive Graeme Loy.
“Restrictions will ease for fully vaccinated people in the near future and COVID-19 vaccination is the best way to prevent serious illness, hospitalisation or death.”
Bookings are recommended and can be made here. They can also be made on-the-spot at Qudos Bank Arena.
