On-the-spot priority COVID-19 vaccinations for Parramatta LGA residents at Qudos Bank Arena

Calling Parramatta, Harris Park, Telopea and Rydalmere residents!

This weekend, residents of the Parramatta Local Government Area will be able to get priority COVID-19 vaccinations at Qudos Bank Arena thanks to Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD).

Over 91.5 per cent of Parramatta residents aged 15+ have already received their first dose of a COVID vaccine, and we want to see the area join Blacktown and The Hills in reaching over 95 per cent first dose coverage.

Both Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccinations will be available on-the-spot from 8am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday this weekend.

The Pfizer vaccine is suitable for all ages 12+ while the AstraZeneca vaccine is suitable for people aged 18+

“With restrictions easing for the fully vaccinated on Monday, this is a great opportunity for your family, friends and neighbours in the Parramatta area to get vaccinated,” said WSLHD chief executive Graeme Loy.

“Not only is COVID-19 vaccination is the best way to prevent serious illness, hospitalisation or death, restrictions will continue to ease for fully vaccinated people when the state reaches the 80 per cent double dose milestone.”

Bookings are recommended and can be made here. They can also be made on-the-spot at Qudos Bank Arena.
