Administrative Professionals’ Day, held on the first Friday in May each year, celebrates the work performed by administrative staff across the country.
To commemorate this special day, the Westmead Hospital corporate services team hosted a bountiful morning tea and awards ceremony for staff which included lucky door prizes on Friday 6 May.
“The day is a great opportunity to commemorate, show gratitude and recognise all administrative staff working in the organisation,” said Westmead Hospital director corporate services Renata Melan.
“Administrative professionals truly underpin the high-quality patient care that is delivered by the hospital.
“Quite simply, without administrative staff, the hospital cannot operate; they support, tackle daily challenges and exhibit grace under pressure to assist fellow employees, management, consumers and the patients of Westmead Hospital.”
