Western Sydney’s community warriors celebrated at AICE Integrated and Community Health Quality Awards

“The AICE awards in Integrated and Community Health are such a great way for us to demonstrate some of the most amazing work the teams do every day,” said General Manager, Integrated and Community Health Jasmin Ellis.
The awards were held on Tuesday 26 July at the Western Sydney University Clinical School auditorium at the Blacktown Hospital Campus.
“It’s really important to acknowledge the quality and celebrate together the teams’ success over the last year,” said Jasmin.
Thirteen projects were acknowledged across eight categories that Jasmin explained “demonstrate the dedication of the clinicians and the teams to providing the best, the safest and the most efficient care that they can to their patients across western Sydney”.
The Centre for Population Health team was one of two teams to walk away with two awards for their efforts.
“COVID-19 has shown us that a one size fits all approach isn’t enough when communicating important health and wellbeing information said Population Health Program Officer, Healthy Places, Belinda Duckworth.
“The equity engagement model allowed us to really listen to the community, rapidly and meaningfully, often through our trusted and established partners.”
